Education All therapists affiliated with CCS are thoroughly trained in the field of speech-language pathology. We frequently attend continuing education programs to keep up with the latest developments and research in our field.

Experience The therapists of CCS have extensive experience in treating a wide variety of of communication and swallowing disorders. All therapists are experienced in treating children and adults. We have worked in a variety of treatment facilities in addition to our own office. Several of our therapists are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of dysphagia (swallowing disorders).

Expertise Our speech-language pathologists are dedicated to providing the highest possible quality of service to our patients. With several therapists on staff and many years of experience, we are able to offer a high degree of expertise in multiple areas of our field. We provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for all types of communication and swallowing disorders.

Our Practice

CCS is a private practice of speech-language pathology that was established in 1990. It is owned and managed by Robin Angell and Barbara Prakup. Both Robin and Barbara are certified, licensed speech-language pathologists, with over 35 years combined experience in the field.

All therapists affiliated with CCS are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Ohio. All therapists have experience in the diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. We have many years of experience with videofluoroscopic swallowing evaluations, and have assisted in the establishment of swallowing programs at two area hospitals.

We strive to provide the best possible speech pathology services to our patients with honesty, integrity, and compassion.

Financial Considerations

In some cases, speech pathology services may be covered by medical insurance. Our office will provide patients with the necessary information and claim forms to submit for reimbursement.

CCS is an authorized provider for the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH) and the Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC).
